Is my smart phone capable of making taSki bookings?

You can make your taSki booking with your Android and iOS based smart phones- there's a taSki app for each exclusively.

What are the operational hours of taSki?

taSki operates on any time of the day, and any day of the week- we're here to take you places safely 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

With the taSki app, passengers may make bookings any place, and any time, and just about any day- we're available over any and every holidays as well.

Is taSki available in my city, how do I know?

Here at taSki, in our zest to take you places with us, we've made it possible for you to make bookings from just about anywhere in India.

On a beta note, taSki is now available exclusive to Cochin- but that's not all, we're certainly going to move forward with other places, over some exciting updates coming soon.

Can I avail a taSki cab without using a smart phone?

As of the moment, taSki has been made available exclusively as mobile apps running on Android and iOS devices, and any other service request by another means isn’t available.

We’re making a web based booking happen soon though so watch us out for some really cool updates in the pipeline!

Can I see a fare estimation of my booking prior to taking a ride?

Yes you can- taSki lets you see a prior approximate estimation of what your fares are going to be prior to the journey. This feature is available in any app versions and even, on our website.

Is it possible for me to change my cab on a booking that has been made already?

When you make a taSki booking, we assign a particular cab associated with a particular driver to your booking, for security reasons. This would be in no way changed, and only stands to be cancelled should a TaSkigoer prefer otherwise.

In the rare event a particular taSki associated with an agency has for some unavoidable circumstances changed the driver associated with a particular taSki, then the TaSkigoer would be notified of the same by us.

Can I request a cab for someone else?

Sure you can! Just have the pick-up point specified as the location where you want us to pick up the person you’re booking on behalf of, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Please be sure to notify them of the taSki details as you’ve received them, though!

I forgot my password, I can't sign in!

Forgot your password? No problem- just click on the ‘reset password’ option and follow the steps that’ll guide you to resetting your password, and you’re all done!

I didn’t receive my password reset email.

It is possible that sometimes, the password reset email that we’ve sent your way has wound up in the Spam folder, so you may want to check there first!

if you cannot find an email from us with the password reset, please go ahead with performing a password reset once again.

Is it possible for me to rate drivers?

Yes! You can, and we’d love it if you could rate your ride with us!

taSki encourages your proactive support by rating your rides with us- in the future, it’ll help us serve you better :)

How do I change my profile details?

To change your profile details, simply tap the icon with the three horizontal bars by the top left corner of the screen, and tap on ‘accounts’, where you may access all the profile settings related to your account.

How can I re-assign my favourite locations?

Simply head over to your profile and edit your profile settings, to access your saved favourite locations, where you may edit any favourite locations you may have specified.

Is it possible for me to change my Email id/ phone number?

taSki lets you update the mobile number associated with your account, but for security purposes, you can only maintain one user account permanently against one email id.

Is it possible for me to change my Email id/ phone number?

It seems like you’re already registered with us then, please use the login option and provide your credentials, or use the forgot password option to recover your account in case you’ve forgotten your credentials!.

How do I know of ongoing promotions associated with taSki?

If you’re subscribed with us, taSki lets you know of any ongoing or upcoming promotions by email or by text message.

You can also check for any ongoing promotional activities under ‘promotions’, listed under options.

I can’t seem to avail a promotion.

taSki provided promotional offers based on certain conditions, which are exclusive to each promotions and coupon codes provided. Please refer to the binding conditions for the respective offers, for the validity and eligibility of a particular promotional.

Is there any way I can redeem an expired promotion?

It wouldn’t be possible to redeem an expired promotion- each promotional offers come with a validity period within which they may be redeemed, and once expired, cease to provide any value added benefit to the user unconditionally.

What happens if my cab is late?

Signals, hustles and bustles of the city, roadblocks and detours- there’s a zillion hurdles your taSki’s got to cross, to get through to you. Nevertheless, each and every taSki is driven by diligent, dedicated professionals who put their utmost skill to the wheel to get to you in good time.

If you think that your cab is going to be late, please be sure to intimate your taSki driver, who will update you of the current location of your taSki.

If you think that this is taking longer than you thought and you’d like to cancel out with us, please feel free to cancel your taSki by all means.

My taSki is taking an alternate route.

Sometimes, due to detours or road blocks or other such reasons, your taSki may have to take an alternate route instead of the one as suggested to your destination.

We’ll be sure to take the next best alternate route to your destination in such an event, and fares may vary from the estimate provided, depending upon the extra distance and time taken to reach the destination via such routes.

Is it possible for me to contact the cab driver coming to pick me up?

Yes it is!
As soon as your taSki booking stands confirmed, we’re going to be providing you with the details of the taSki driver and the taSki that’ll come get you from your pick up location specified- and this includes an option to dial your driver from within the app.

Concerned about sharing your number with your taSki driver? Have not the slightest fear- taSki implements encrypted and masked communication technologies to automatically hide your numbers from appearing on your taSki driver’s device, for your absolute peace of mind.

Is it possible for me to request a particular driver?

As taSki works by assigning the closest vehicle of each type to your location, so the driver associated with that vehicle would be coming to take you on your taSki trip, this wouldn’t be possible.

Is it possible for me to assign a delivery with a taSki cab?

This is something we’re going to be coming up with, really soon! In fact, we’re going to be adding an exclusive delivery feature to taSki, watch us for some really cool updates in the pipeline.

Do you have any peak time charges/ surged pricings?

Nope, taSki believes in a fair game- we’re not going to be charging you even a rupee extra on even the peak-est of times, that’s an absolute word! :)

Am I to pay tolls and any other surcharges along the route?

TaSkigoers are requested to bear any tolls/ surcharges encountered along the journey, and may be informed prior to the journey.

How are fares calculated?

taSki makes fare calculations on two parameters- the time taken for the trip, and the distance covered.

While the estimate provided may give a rough idea as to the costs incurred, variations in either of the above govern the actual fare.

My taSki driver is quoting me a higher fare than what my app has shown as the estimated fare. Why has it happened?

taSki makes estimated fare calculations based on a predefined condition of time and distance covered for a journey, as from the source and destination specified by a TaSkigoer.

The actual fares however, will be reflected by the time and distance covered for the journey, which may or may not vary from the estimate, on external factors such as diversions, tolls and service charges incurred, traffic blocks and such.

What modes of payment can I avail with taSki?

As of now, taSki facilitates a direct cash payment, but we’re soon looking to give you other modes of payment as well to facilitate a cashless ride.

Can I get a receipt for rides?

Sure you can! You may access any previous ride receipts by tapping on ‘trip history’, under settings.

What notifications can I receive?

The following are the notifications taSki may send your way:

I’m not interested in receiving SMS updates on promotions. What am I to do?

taSki constantly and excitedly tries to make every TaSkigoer a part of its journey ahead- we make sure that we keep you in the loop when we have our moments.

That being said, if you wish to stop receiving any such communication from us, please SMS ‘UNSUB to 567272 and we’ll be sure to take you off our promotional list- you’d no longer receive any promotional communication, including offers, coupon codes and such, as well.

I don’t want to receive any notifications altogether, is there any way?

Although taSki does not send you any communications regarding promotions and such, we will however, be required to communicate with you on certain important functional aspects of the app, such as for OTP verification while registering with us.

Cancellations

Is it possible for me to cancel my booking request?

Don’t want to take that awesome ride with us? No Problem!

taSki lets you cancel your booking with us, right till when your taSki shows up to take you around.

What happens if a driver doesn’t show up?

taSki takes diligent care that we get people to places, in the right time- this isn’t something that is likely to happen!

In the unusual occasion that there is a no-show upon booking, we request all TaSkigoers to immediately notify us on our support number, following which we will strive to send an alternate taSki your way.

If by any chance taSki fails to get to you, we’ll of course be obliged to have the trip cancelled and have any pre-payments settled in full, as necessary.
