Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Node.js.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party travel APIs (flights, hotels, cabs).
Work with MongoDB and MySQL to design efficient and scalable data models.
Implement messaging and event-driven systems using Kafka.
Collaborate with the team via GitHub for version control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance tuning.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily scrums.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB, MySQL, Kafka, and GitHub.
Strong knowledge of API design and integrations (preferably travel APIs such as flights, hotels, or mobility services).
Understanding of REST, authentication (OAuth/JWT), and microservices architecture.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
